With all of the picnics and gifts of bouquets that were exchanged today, I figured that most of my readers would not likely dedicate time to reading blogs this evening. Tomorrow I will publish our regularly scheduled continuation of Providence, but for today, allow me a moment to honor my mother.
For those of you who may recall, last year I wrote a post dedicated to my mom. For those of you who were not here last year, here is a link to the post - Special Edition Mother's Day
Today, my sisters and I treated our mother to a breakfast at Cody's in La Jolla where we enjoyed the morning with delicious challah french toast and a nice ocean breeze.

We enjoyed coffees from my favorite coffee shop, The Upstart Crow. (There's honestly no telling as to how many hours, money and parking validation tickets that I have invested in that coffee house!)
To my mother and to all the mothers out there, happiest of mother's day to you!
See you tomorrow!
Your humble author,
S. Faxon
